Global Agendas and Education Reforms A Comparative Study
This open-access volume critically examines how global education agendas—such as digitalization, innovation and entrepreneurship, education in emergencies, globalization/internationalization, diversity, and sustainability—are reshaping national education reforms across different regions. By analyzing case studies from Algeria, Pakistan, Ukraine, Canada, and beyond, it highlights the growing convergence of education policies due to intensified international interactions and technological advances. The chapters explore the influence of these global trends on key dimensions of education: pedagogy, curriculum, teacher training, and educational administration. Ultimately, the book argues that understanding and engaging with global agendas is essential for designing effective and context-sensitive national reforms.
