Dynamics in Education Politics
This book introduces the Comparative Analytics of Dynamics in Education Politics (CADEP), a theoretical framework that examines the relational dynamics between policy threads, actors, and institutions in education politics. Applying CADEP, the authors analyze the "Finnish Educational Miracle," focusing on the complexities, contingencies, and transnational influences shaping Finland's education system. The study explores four key dynamics: policymaking, governance, family educational strategies, and classroom culture, offering insights into how these interrelated factors contribute to educational outcomes. The book emphasizes the importance of understanding these dynamics to learn from both successes and failures in education systems.
